Privacy

REVIEW. Privacy copy authored by the build (no COPY doc existed). Steve to confirm before go-live.

The Institute of Agency Science collects as little as possible, and it says so plainly. This page describes what the site does and does not collect, in the same honest register as the rest of the Institute's work.

What the site collects

The public pages of this site collect nothing about you. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers. If analytics are used, they are privacy-safe and cookie-free, and they do not identify individual readers.

The one exception: the working-papers notice list

If you choose to join the working-papers notice list, the Institute stores the email address you provide, together with the date and the record of your consent. This list is purpose-bound. It is used only to send notices about new working papers and publications from the Institute. It is never used for commercial marketing, it is never sold or shared with the commercial entities that cite the Institute, it is never used for advertising or retargeting, and it is kept separate from every commercial audience. You can unsubscribe at any time, and asking to be deleted deletes you everywhere the Institute holds you.

Your choices

You can read, cite, and adopt everything on this site without providing any information. Joining the notice list is optional, and leaving it is a single request. To ask what the Institute holds about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, use the contact channel published with the notice-list form.

Status

The Institute of Agency Science is being established as a 501(c)(3). This privacy statement describes the Institute's intended practice and will be finalized at formation.
